Description
NOW Foods Berberine Glucose Support is an alkaloid which is a natural constituent of certain plants such as goldenseal, oregan grape and barberry. Studies have demonstrated that berberine may help to support normal glucose levels and lipid metabolism. Berberine may also be beneficial for maintaining a healthy balance of normal bacteria in the intestines and supporting respiratory tract mucus membranes as well as its benefits for supporting healthy cholesterol levels, blood sugar metabolism and healthy insulin levels.

Because berberine is known for its limited bioavailability, this product includes caprate (C10, a medium-chain triglyceride) to promote optimal absorption and maintenance of gastro comfort during berberine supplementation.
