Highlights
Self Heal's New Zealand Bush Bitters is a unique, highly synergistic herbal formula that has been lovingly hand prepared from specially selected herbs of New Zealand's native bush. Only the best quality plants have been used and great care is taken to ensure plant survival.

New Zealand Bush Bitters were created after being Inspired by the success of Self Heal's European formula, Swedish Bitters. The pharmacological components of Swedish Bitters were analysed and a herbal combination based on NZ bush plants was created.

  • Extensive tests were carried out on over 350 participants to find out the differences in action of the two herbal tonics.
  • Added to this, clinical experience has shown that Swedish Bitters supports normal liver function while Bush Bitters supports normal kidney function.
  • Both tonics support healthy digestion and respiration.
  • Bush Bitters may be useful for menopausal women and mildly depressed, exhausted or stressed people.

Enjoy this product very much. Like bitter taste. Has strengthened my anti immune system I think as a cough does not develop. Nor sniffles.

Must have digestive aid

I have found this suits me better than Swedish Bitters. Digestion is improving and my sleep has also improved dramatically - no getting up to the loo!

NZ Bush Bitters

Yes, it tastes really bitter, in a refreshing way. Plus it aids digestion, and helps fend off colds and sniffles. If I\'m short on sleep, this will prevent me catching random infections or having a sniffle develop further. Began with a small bottle, now up to my second 200ml bottle. Recommend it for these properties.

Fantastic early stage cold prevention

We always keep a bottle for winter time and as soon as we feel like a cold or other virus is getting hold in our bodies, we slug back some Bush Bitters. Nine times out of ten it works. You have to take it right at the early stages though.

This is so bitter it has got to be good .. only a few teaspoons full taken so far. Sourced to bring the benefit of the NZ bush home until we have a kawakawa growing and can self heal or have the energy to climb in the bush. The jury is out on which of multiple supplements should get the credit but the first paid work (2 hours) in ten years this week is a milestone.

Great product

These bitters, unlike all others I have come across on the market, are actually bitter tasting. For those that crave that taste and only find it in the odd salad green, this makes for a refreshing change! If under stress, working odd hours and/or burning the candle at both ends, this is my go-to supplement if I want to keep highly functional.
