Description

Solgar Omega 3-6-9 is a blend of omega 3, 6 and 9 from fish oil, flaxseed oil and borage oil.

These essential fatty acids support several normal physiological functions and need to be consumed in the diet.

Omega 3 contains EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid). These can be found in oily fish such as sardines, mackerel and salmon. ALA (Alpha-linolenic Acid) is also an omega 3 fatty acid and can be found in nuts and seeds like flaxseeds.

Gamma-linoleic acid is an Omega 6 fatty acid found in borage, evening primrose and black currant seed oils.

Oleic Acid is an Omega 9 fatty acid and can be found in nuts and oils like walnuts, peanuts and olive oil.

Solgar Omega 3-6-9, with its 3 a day dosage, provides a high ratio of omega-3 oils, from fish and flaxseed, to omega-6s from borage and flaxseed oils, to omega-9s.

Directions

As a food supplement for adults, take three (3) softgels daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
