Founded by renowned medical herbalist Sandra Clair, Artemis is a company whose roots are deeply embedded in traditional Swiss herbal medicine. Originally from Switzerland, Clair moved to Otago and fell in love with the area, setting up her first clinic in 1995. Driven by a need to source the herbal products she was accustomed to using, she began producing her own traditional plant medicines, and three years later Artemis was born.
HealthPost carries a range of Artemis products, including teas, creams and tinctures.
The Artemis range includes herbal medicines in a number of traditional forms, from targeted specialty tea blends to skin oils and creams and liquid herbs. Artemis’ range of skin care includes Itch Calm and Vein Support products, and liquid herbs cover everything from immune to joint health support.
With a baby range that includes a baby gripe tea and a zinc-free nappy rash cream, through to Kids ViroGone for assisting with kids’s immunity, and a popular therapeutic tea range for supporting numerous adult systems such as Fertility, Breastfeeding, Liver Detox, Stress Relief and Deep Sleep, there is something for every age and stage of life.

Traditionally in Europe, this formula is recommended from early pregnancy onwards. Raspberry leaf has a cumulative effect so the longer it’s taken throughout the pregnancy, the better its effect on the uterine muscle. While it is suitable to take right throughout pregnancy, many women feel comfortable starting Pregnancy Tea at week 13.
Always read the label and use as directed. If symptoms persist, see your health professional.
