I had an awful reaction when using this, and over a week later it still hasn't healed. Very itchy, red and sore. I presume this is a reaction to the propolis after doing some research online. I kept applying for a few days as I presumed it was just the cold sore getting worse. So be very careful! Obviously seems fine for some, but if you think you might be having a reaction stop ASAP. I am concerned as it seems Health post has deleted my previous review and others that were up saying the same thing, but people need to be aware of this potential reaction, so I am trying again.
KOLOREX RESPONSE: "We're sorry to hear about your experience, we take this type of feedback very seriously and we appreciate you reaching out. There is a possibility that your skin may have developed a sensitivity to one of the natural plant ingredients. We are all unique and sometimes a person can develop a sensitivity to an ingredient in a new product, or even a product they have used previously. If you suspect any unwanted effects may be linked to a product, it's always recommended to stop using it immediately and consult your health professional. Moving forward, you may like to be extra cautious and avoid products that contain Propolis extract and Tea Tree essential oil as these are the two active plant ingredients in Kolsore®. Also, when starting any new skincare product, as a precaution it's recommend that you perform a patch test by applying a small amount on the inside of your elbow and leaving it for 24 hours, if you notice any unwanted changes, it's best not to use the product. Thanks again for sharing your experience"
