Description
Dolphin Clinic Sandalwood Pure Essential Oil is useful for connecting couples. Deeply relaxing and supports a balanced mood. Useful for supporting a healthy menstrual cycle. Soothing skin treatment for dry itchy skin.

Ingredients

Botanical Name: Amyris balsamifera
Plant Part: Wood
Extraction Method: Steam Distilled

Directions

All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10ml of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).

Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

To make a natural perfume combine 2 drops sandalwood, 2 drops bergamot, 2 drops juniper, 10ml almond oil in a roller and apply to pulse points.
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Can irritate the skin. Dilute well.
  • Avoid during pregnancy.
  • Don't use it if you have epilepsy or high blood pressure.

"This is one of my favourite essential oils, I just love it. The only problem was that it was too think to get through the little plastic pourer, so after thinking it was blocked I removed it to find the oil is incredibly thick. So now I just use it as is."
