Evolu Healing Lip Treatment is a gentle, lightweight treatment that combines the anti-microbial properties of New Zealand Manuka honey with the nourishing benefits of Thyme and Rosemary. It applies easily and absorbs readily, working to soothe, repair and soften the delicate skin of the lips. its light consistency allows it to penetrate quickly, and the convenient tube makes it perfect for travel as well as everyday use.
Effective Lip Care - Things to Remember:
More than almost any other skin on our bodies, the lips need hydration and sun protection. Facial skin typically has up to 16 layers, but with only three to five layers our lips are much more delicate. And did you know lips have no oil or sweat glands? That means if they dehydrate, the lost moisture is not naturally replaced.
There are natural proteins, called glycosaminoglycans, which work to hold in the moisture, but as we age, the natural production of these proteins lessens. This is why chapped and cracked lips can become a problem. But there are more serious health concerns that can affect these expressive assets. Cancer of the lip can be caused by the ultraviolet radiation in sunlight, and our lips are often more exposed to the sun than we realise, even in winter. Wearing a hat plus using a lotion or balm that contains sunscreen reduces this risk but the level of protection depends on how well and how often you apply the treatment – and how long you spend in the sun. Of course, sun protection is not always essential if you’re spending a lot of time indoors, but that’s when air-conditioning and indoor heating can still have damaging, drying effects.

"I was first introduced to this product on an Air New Zealand flight several years ago - it was included in the complimentary toiletries bag on a business class fare. It’s still just as good. "Some good, some not so good aspects of this product. Pros: it really softens my lips which can last up to 24 hours. Has a lovely feel on your lips and is very easily applied. Cons: it does not heal my dry lips or my lip peeling. In saying that, I have used many lip balms/treatments and nothing seems to completely fix dry lips so this product is one up on them as it truly does give my lips a beautiful softness and I think it’s great under lipstick! Sometimes it lasts a day and a half before I have to apply again. In summary I would buy again as I like the softness of my lips after using and it helps my lippy look good too. :)"

"I read the reviews before I purchase the Evolu Healing Lip Treatment - it sounded like the answer to my constantly 'shredding' lips! But sadly it hasn't worked for me, offers only temporary relief but not long-term. . . . . . ."
Can't do without it!
"I also first came across this wonderful lip treatment in an airline gift pack, and became hooked! Lip problems caused by sun, wind, cold, colds & flu are relieved overnight. It is also a very reasonable price, as you only need a tiny bit and it lasts for ages. I give it away as Christmas and birthday presents, and no-one's ever complained ;-)"
