Description
Matakana Superfoods Matcha Organic Tea Powder special oxygen-resistant, metalised foil pouches are designed to maintain maximum freshness and potency, ensuring you get the best grade of matcha tea possible.
Matcha is made from specially grown and processed young green tea leaves. Matcha contains less caffeine than coffee. The Chinese methods of preparing powdered green tea were brought to Japan in 1191 by Zen Buddhist monk Eisai. Traditionally used in tea ceremony rituals, matcha tea now has many applications and is an easy way to add phytonutrients to your everyday diet. Importantly, matcha needs to be protected from oxidation to preserve its flavour and quality.
