Matakana Superfoods Turkey Tail Mushroom Powder: Turkey Tail is a mushroom species which supports immune system and microbiome health.
Matakana Health’s organic turkey tail mushroom is wild harvested from the vast Siberian and sub-arctic forests where this species of mushroom produces high-quality phytonutrients.
Dual extraction, cold water propriety technology is used to ensure bioavailability of key compounds from the fruiting body. A ratio of around 15kg of dried mushroom is used to produce 1kg of bioactive turkey tail powder.
Compared with other general extraction technology, the use of low temperature wall breaking + fractional precipitation technology retains nutrients and various biological activities in the beta glucan component of this mushroom.
