Description
Nature's Sunshine Food Enzymes combines enzymes, bile salts, pancreatin and betaine hydrochloride to support the body's capacity to digest meals. This formula includes pepsin, which is used for pre-digesting proteins in the stomach. Betaine HCL supports an ideal acidic environment to facilitate the activity of pepsin. After food reaches the small intestine, the enzyme pancreatin supports protein, carbohydrate, and fat digestion further. Mycozyme supports the digestion of starches; papain and bromelain support the digestion of protein; and bile salt makes fats soluble, preparing them for further digestion by lipase.

"I highly recommend this product. My husband suffers from indigestion especially after eating fats. He has suffered severe discomfort including vomiting and pain as well as cost us a fortune on antacid products over many years. He has baffled doctors and specialists and recently had his gallbladder removed. \nAs soon as he started taking this product, one tablet daily, just before his evening meal his symptoms have almost vanished.
