ROAR Organic Pecans Activated have been soaked, washed and dehydrated – below 47°C – making them extra digestible, delectable and oh so moreish.
Nuts contain compounds that make them hard to digest and these compounds can also stop some nuts from releasing nutrients until they sprout. Luckily we can trick nuts into thinking they’re about to sprout, releasing more nutrients and making them taste fresh and sweet. Oh, and extra crunchy! This process is called Activating!

"ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity), researchers analyzed 277 different foods and found that pecans rank among the highrst in antioxidant capacity. With 17,940 ORAC units per 100 grams, pecans had the highest antioxidant capacity when compared to eight other common tree nuts. It takes many hours on low temperature to activate nuts.
