Highlights

  • Rich source of plant-based protein
  • Source of dietary fibre
  • Source of essential vitamins & minerals
Description

Waihi Bush Hemp Protein - Organic: Waihi Bush take only certified organic hemp seeds and cold press, so the oil is extracted, and the fibre is milled to produce a 100% natural raw hemp protein.

Humans and hemp have a long-standing relationship. In medieval Europe hemp meant fibre, and was one of the first cultivated
crops.

About hemp protein:

  • It is a great source of minerals such as: magnesium, iron, zinc and vitamins B1, B3, B6 and B9.
  • It is gluten free and also grain free, dairy free and soy free.
  • It is a great substitute for wheat flour, whilst adding nutritional advantages.
  • Hemp seed protein provides a source of omegas (essential fatty acids). Your body cannot make them so you must
    consume it within your food.
  • It contains high quality protein which is essential for growth and maintenance of muscle and bones.
Ingredients

Cold Pressed, Unrefined, Organic Hemp Seed Protein (100%).
Directions

Suggested serving size: 40g per dayServing suggestions:

  • As the flour is dense and does not rise, it is an ideal flour for use in crackers, flatbreads, or making tortillas.
  • Combine with other flours in baking (recommend 1:4 ratio of hemp to other flours).
  • Blend into your favourite smoothie, yoghurt or shake.
  • A nourishing and gluten free way of coating fish or chicken.
  • Use to thicken soups, stews and sauces.
