Description

Goodlife Sprouting Jar Kit contains everything you need to grow your own fresh sprouts. In 5-6 days you will have a bounty of sprouts to use in your cooking, salads, soups, wraps and sandwiches. More cost effective and definitely fresher than store bought.

  • Easy to grow regardless of where you live, just add water
  • The freestanding lid is designed to drain the excess water away from the seeds while they grow
  • Sprout seeds require water to grow but they do not like wet feet
  • This is the simple way to grow a variety of seeds including Alfalfa and smaller seeds

Ingredients

Glass
Stainless mesh & BPA free lid
Organic spicy mix sprout seeds
Directions
  1. Place entire contents of the envelope of seeds into the jar.
  2. 3/4 fill the jar with cold water to cover the seeds.
  3. Screw on your growing lid.
  4. Let sit for about 8 hours to soak and activate.
  5. Agitate the seeds and drain the water from the jar.
  6. Fill jar with water and rinse again until water runs clear.
  7. Turn your jar upside down in the sink and shake off any additional water so seeds are dry.
  8. Stand your jar upside down on its lid in the sink or on a plate on the bench to allow any extra water to drip through. 

The jar will now contain your activated seeds that will start growing. Ideally each morning and evening fill the jar with cold water, gently shake and rinse through the sprouts then tip the jar upside down and leave to drain. This must be done twice a day in order for the sprouts to grow successfully.
Precautions
  • Clean jar before using for the first time (these jars are dishwasher safe).  
  • Do not put in direct sunlight unless instructions on seed bag say so.
