Description
Natures Sunshine Activated Charcoal is highly adsorbent, which means particles stick to the outside of the structure, rather than being sucked inside as with "absorbent" materials. Charcoal is often used to support the body's cleansing and detoxification mechanisms as it helps bind toxins in the digestive tract. "Purchased for a recent trip to Bali. We took one daily along with probiotics to get ahead of any potential bugs. 2 out of 4 of us had a bit of an upset tummy and took a big dose. Cleared up by next day for one and the other had on and off mild tummy upset for the rest of the trip. Got him checked out when we got home and turns out he did have Bali belly so think the Charcoal likely saved the day reducing to a much milder case than otherwise could've been!"
