Description
Nature's Sunshine GTF Chromium is the bioavailable form of amino acid chelate to help the body support healthy blood sugar levels, metabolise proteins, carbohydrates, fats and maintain a stabilised appetite. Chromium is the central atom in the "glucose tolerance factor" (GTF), a hormone like compound that works with insulin to transport glucose, the body's quickest fuel out of the blood and into the cells. With chromium present in the diet, the intestines can produce GTF. When this function (GTF) is not working properly, the cells resist insulin and do not properly absorb the glucose needed for energy.
The liver also needs chromium to manufacture fatty acids, lecithin, cholesterol and lipoproteins. Without chromium, blood fats tend to rise because the liver cannot filter them out.

"I bought this to lower my blood sugar level, no real change"
Best cost/benefit ratio
"I have tried a number of other brands of chromium to even out blood sugar and reduce sugar cravings, and many of them have misleading information on them. I find this brand the best, high potency, easy to swallow and a good price. This is the one have bought for several years now with great results."

"Now that I take one Chromium in the middle of the day I no longer need to have sweets to eat whilst driving or late in the evening, when I would always crave them."

"I had a problem with 'shakes' at some point during many days. A lot of women do and that's when they reach for a chocolate bar quick energy fix. I discovered chromium and its a rear occasion that I now get those 'shakes'. Natures Sunshine GTF Chromium is a good choice. I like the added herbs"
