Solgar L-Glutamine 500mg contains the amino acid l-glutamine.
L-glutamine is found in large amounts in muscles. It is classified as a non-essential amino acid (i.e. it can be made in the body), but in certain situations the demand for glutamine increases. Natural sources of glutamine include grass-fed beef, wild caught fish, cottage cheese, whey powder, asparagus and broccoli. Dietary supplementation with glutamine may assist dietary intake.
