Vitamin B Complex
Vitamin B complex is the term used to describe a collection of vitamins and provitamins that are related, and function best in a specific ratio with one another. The B vitamins work individually and collectively in every cell to perform a wide variety of different jobs. Without adequate levels of B vitamins, your body would not be able to complete many of its vital tasks, including the release of energy from your food to keep you powered throughout the day.
Vitamin B comprises a collection of related water-soluble vitamins. When grouped together in supplement form they are termed B Complex vitamins, which includes the eight B vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and B12. B vitamins are often found together in the same foods, like wholegrains, dairy products and leafy green vegetables.
B complex vitamins work to support and promote energy metabolism in the body and are also vital elements in cell production, immune, endocrine and nervous system health.
