Chaste tree is a shrub native to the Mediterranean region and the part used medicinally is the fruit, which are the ripe dark berries.
Chaste Tree is most effective taken in the second half of the menstrual cycle when low progesterone levels can cause PMT symptoms and contribute to the difficulties with conception. Chaste Tree may also be beneficial in assisting female hormonal acne.
