Invisible Zinc

Sunscreens can fall into two categories: physical, and chemical filters. Chemical filter sunscreens, the most common on the market, are effective at protecting against the sun’s rays, but not necessarily good for our body, as the main filter chemicals can be absorbed by the body and are linked to a number of health concerns.

Physical sun blocks, like zinc, are different. They sit on the skin’s surface and act as a shield, blocking the sun’s rays directly without being absorbed. Invisible Zinc sits on the skin, but unlike the coloured zinc products of old, new technology means it blends in invisibly, like standard sunblock.

Look for tinted moisturizer and various high-SPF sunblocks in our range of Invisible Zinc products.

Product Reviews

  • Thick, greasy, sticky and hard to rub in

    star

The worst natural sunscreen I've ever tried. Its thick and sticky and is very hard to rub in. I used it on my arms they looked wet like I had slopped cooking oil on my arms. I used it on my face, and my hair kept sticking to them as it makes the skin sticky. NOT invisible, gives a strong white cast. Smells terrible as well, like sweet sickly baby powder.

I am a mature womam and I really like this product. It goes on smoothly and suits my fair skin well. Highly recommend.

The product comes out like a mousse so goes on quite smoothly on the skin. However i put on my moisturizer and facial oil first before applying this to create an even finish, otherwise its blotchy. There is a white cast as expected from zinc sunscreens but its alright. I still can go out. The name is very misleading as it is not really a moisturizer but just plain zinc spf as per ingredients list. I also found that it healed my acne pretty fast. For a 50ml spf, it is pricey. But i like the mouse texture and dispenser.
