I love collecting mushrooms in season and making mushroom soup and other mushroomy delights. I saw this mushroom powder on the Healthpost website and decided to give it a try. Maggi used to make a mushroom stock powder years ago but not any more, Divella (an Italian firm) does produce mushroom stock cubes, porcini and black truffle stockcubes made in Europe - these are all very good.
I don't know if the mushrooms used to make this powder are produced in New Zealand (here's hoping!).
I picked some wild mushrooms in a friend's paddock the other day but had barely enough to make mushroom soup. I added a teaspoonful of the Radiance Wild mushrooms powder to strengthen the flavour which it did.
