  • Good Coverage and Sunscreen

I love using BB Creams for a little coverage and their moisturising benefits. This is the first time i have used the Swisse face care range in Light Beige, it looks dark when you first squeeze from the tube but lightens up on application and overall looks not too dewey nor matte once applied - very happy. Great to know i am getting a full SPF30 in there too. This will be a useful addition to the summertime toolkit!

I was previously using the Oasis Apple a day SPF 25 Facial Moisturiser which was fantastic - smooth consistency and easily absorbed into the skin without leaving a whitening effect on the face. I decided to purchase this one after reading reviews about the newer formula (brought out with the new packaging) not being quite the same. However, I'm sad to say I was quite disappointed. The consistency is quite thick in texture so you need to rub it in well. After a few weeks of using the cream, I started to mix a bit of my night cream with it to create a smoother texture for easier application and for it's moisturising effect. I found my skin to be quite dry otherwise. It also has a bit of a whitening effect on the face perhaps due to it's relatively thick texture. I will be researching other brands for a substitute. What a shame!

  • Unsure

i am used to the light texture of my previous BB cream and so when I put this on it felt viscous and heavy. It looks a bit green on your skin at first but becomes a more natural tone. It covers more like a foundation than a BB cream. I am undecided about whether I like it and if I would buy again.
