  • Adverse effect

    star

Unfortunately there must be an ingredient in this product which doesn't suit me as I broke out in an itchy rash within an hour or so after applying it to my face, neck, upper chest & lower arms. I left it for a few days & tried again in case the rash was the result of something other than the cream but the same thing happened again. I've since tried again, after leaving it for over a week & applied a small amount this time mixed with Nivea cream. I only applied it to my face & neck & there was again a reaction to it, though less intense - even a small itchy area on my lower arm where it wasn't applied. To be fair I should mention that I once bought a similar product( different brand) which was fine with no adverse reaction but on finding it in the cupboard & using it again after a couple of years I came out in an itchy rash so threw it away thinking it must have gone off. I'm disappointed to find this Eco Tan product is no better as I chose it carefully because it is " all organic ingredients". Apart from the incident mentioned earlier I've never reacted to any face or skin cream in this way.

  • Didn't work for me

    star

Tried this as I thought it seemed like a less messy way of getting a bit of a tan on the face. But maybe I'm not doing right. I had no visible change in skin colour over three days. However, I did splash some on my foot accidentally and that did tan!!

  • non toxic and protects my face every day

    star

This non-toxic zinc based sunscreen is very well rated on the EWG database (google it and you will find lots of products it rates on toxicity of ingredients). It does leave a white sheen to your face but I put a mineral face powder over the top and it looks fine.
