There are many demands on our magnesium supply which is involved in over 300 essential biochemical reactions. Among these, magnesium has vital roles in cell membrane function, DNA and RNA replication, protein synthesis and stabilising nerve function.
For good bone health and prevention of osteoporosis the earlier you lay down adequate magnesium in the skeletal system the better, so optimum magnesium intake during pregnancy is important. Most people living a modern 21st century lifestyle with all its attendant stressors have some degree of magnesium insufficiency. Because we use magnesium up quickly, we need to continually replenish our reserves and often we are temporarily in deficit.
Maintaining adequate magnesium levels helps prevent cardiovascular disease, kidney stones, gallstones and some forms of arthritis by improving calcium removal from soft tissue, thereby reducing plaquing and stone formation.

I'm impressed with this brand, bought for cramps at night but find I am sleeping much better also. Seems to help the arthritis at night too.
Works great and easy to swallow!
I recommend taking before bed if you have trouble with clenching or grinding your teeth. This seems to help with relaxation and I haven't noticed as much clenching in my jaw when I sleep. They are also great pills for anyone who has a hard time swallowing pills. They are average sized, but slide down very easily. Great product!
