Thin and Oily
I chose to give this product a go to replace a trusted natural brand I buy all the way from the UK (I wanted to shorten my CO2 footprint!). On first impressions, the branding and packaging is really beautiful and I was excited to try it. However I was soon disappointed.\n\nThe formula is very slick, - I\'m no expert and have no idea what comprises mascara, but it feels extremely oily, as though there isn\'t enough of a powdered/pigment ingredient in it. The brush has very short and compact bristles.\n\nThe actual effect on my lashes was that it coated and separated them for a sparse and almost makeup-less look, right down to the eye lid/lash line. Imagine how greasy hair separates at the roots. Usually a good mascara will create the illusion of volume and thickness from the lash line. I was hoping I could build up the material on my lashes to thicken them up - as the product suggests it does! - but it just added to the slick sparseness. I even tried waiting for lashes to dry and applying more later as that can be a handy trick. But no. The formula is completely wrong. \n\nI\'m not into clumpy lashes and do prefer to be natural on the make up front but honestly this product some how makes you look like you have sparser, thinner lashes than before you applied it.
