Along with wheatgrass and barleygrass powders, I find this a powerful powder to have alongside green juices and salads. When I can't access fresh juice during travel, I find chlorella is the most effective one that gives the most similar feeling to having eaten fresh veggies. Just a response to a commenter who said they vomited - it's a powerful cleanser so if your body is a bit toxic, then chlorella may cause your body to have a detox reaction quite strongly (eg. nausea, vomiting). The advice I got when I first tried it, was to just try a 1/4 of a teaspoon or less in water, and slowly build up. I also know people who have felt sick after trying this on a standard diet - switching to a clean, plant-based diet should reduce effects:)
