About the role:

Reporting into the CEO, this newly created position will lead the groups sales and marketing efforts, overseeing strategy, execution, and performance. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment, be driven by the challenge of maximising ecommerce sales and profitability and have a proven track record of developing high performing teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
• Lead the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives across their three online retail brands.
• Analyse sales, margin and customer data and leverage insights to optimise performance.
• Lead and develop a high performing team of five people to achieve sales & growth targets.
• Negotiate effectively with suppliers to drive commercially favourable outcomes.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement to stay ahead in a dynamic market landscape.

About You:

We are looking for an energetci and driven leader who is strategic and commercial, but also comfortable in a hands-on role, and enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in alongside the team.

Key experience that we are looking for includes:

Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in retail sales and marketing leadership roles.
Proven track record of driving B2C online sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth.
Skilled in advanced negotiation and persuasive communication for improved commercial results.
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
Global business experience strongly preferred; Australian market experience especially favoured.

We’re seeking an awesome addition to our Finance & Commercial team.

What we’re looking for… 

We’re on the hunt for a highly motivated Commercial Analyst to support and add value to the growth of the HealthPost group brands and online stores within Australia and New Zealand.

About the role:

As Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for all regular reporting and creating commercial insights and tangible recommendations to improve financial performance and customer retention. In this role you will be experienced and very comfortable working with data, data systems, data capture, accuracy, and integrity.

You will be supporting our commercial, sales and marketing teams by providing insights, analytics, and monitoring category and market trends. You will also provide support and insights on pricing, promotion and merchandising strategies and tactics, in order to drive sales performance and customer growth and retention.

Key responsibilities: 

• Analyse data from our systems and platforms to create and monitor dashboards, reports and models to support and measure business strategy.
• Present written and verbal reports and analysis on progress against strategy, sales and KPI’s.
• Work with the Data team, and others to ensure customer data is captured correctly and accurately via our integrated platforms.
• Understand the why behind customer behaviour, monitor and identify opportunities to improve data capture against existing customer profiles.
• Analyse and interpret data and shopping behaviour to inform marketing strategy and effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and track competitor prices and pricing strategies, marketing campaigns and offers on a regular basis and build a good understanding of each market to help develop a competitive advantage. Interpret and analyse market data as it’s available.
• Work with the Head of Finance & Commercial, the data team and others to develop the overall data strategy for the business, including how it will be captured, stored and utilised.
• Create tools/models to assist with strategic decision-making for campaigns, enhance productivity, and streamline automation and operational processes.
• Support data capture and reporting for ESG including B Corp, Carbon offsetting and new sustainable & re-generation initiatives as required.

Key requirements: 

• A minimum of five years in a similar role with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Analytics, or a related field. At least 5 years' experience within a commercial and analytical environment with demonstrable experience.
• Ability to understand commercial and financial issues and communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way.
• Strong analytical and planning skills and attention to detail. Understanding of marketing campaign processes, performance analytics, and best practices.
• Advanced degree of computer literacy (MS Office products) Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools & analytics (PowerBI, Google Looker Studio, Google Analytics, etc.). CDP or Marketing automation experience is ideal.
• Effectively communicate insights to stakeholders, designing reports and dashboards that track key performance along with previous experience in customer segmentation, data storytelling, and forecasting
