Q1) Pro-Erex feels like a fresh, modern take on performance support. What inspired that direction?
When Pro-Erex™ was established 15 years ago, our aim was to offer a natural option to support both men’s and women’s libido. Back then, the options were largely limited and tended to overlook the holistic approach that we believe is essential for overall wellbeing.
Throughout this time, we've consistently updated and refined our product range, occasionally revising the formulas to ensure they remain at the forefront of innovation. And always selecting ingredients backed by research, all meticulously crafted by our experienced naturopath.
Q2) Many of us are juggling full lives - energy, stress, hormones, intimacy. Where does Pro-Erex fit within that wider wellbeing picture?
The Pro-Erex™ range has been designed to support all over health and wellbeing, with a focus on sexual health. The herbs we choose in these products are not only supportive for hormonal health but also for the whole body. The added adaptogenic and antioxidant herbs support the body to deal with all types of stress, as well as healthy energy levels and immune support. At the end of the day sexual energy is life force energy so supporting the whole body is essential. We have also added specific nutrients to support both hormonal health and stress support. And we have Pro-Erex™ Booster and Intensity – take a couple of capsules before intimacy for sexual performance and blood flow.
Q3) For someone new to your range, which one product would you recommend they start with?
For men, we recommend Mens Pro-Erex™ Testo Support – this formula is designed to support health, wellness, testosterone and libido for men. This blend of herbal extracts, antioxidants and nutrients is a great formulation for men wanting to support their sexual health, prostate, fertility, stress resistance, energy or healthy aging.
For women, we recommend Womens Pro-Erex™ Intimacy - this formula is designed to support women’s health, wellness, sexual health and hormone changes such as perimenopause or menopause. Once again, it is a unique formulation of herbal extracts and nutrients to support stress resistance, hormonal balance and libidol.
Q4) You’ve developed tailored formulas for both men and women. What sparked that more personalised approach?
We have done separate formulas for both men and women due to sexual and hormonal differences. We have chosen different specific herbs and nutrients in each formula due to the vastly different physiology and psychology between men and women, in relation to sexual health. We welcome any feedback on this matter and strive to ensure our products and approach are respectful and supportive of individuals of every gender identity and sexual orientation.
Q5) Pro-Erex blends traditional botanicals with modern research. How do you balance nature and science in your formulas?
When formulating supplements, we are lucky to have access to both scientific research and traditional uses for herbal extracts, and in many cases, we combine these two aspects together.
In the Womens Pro-Erex™ Intimacy, we have used Shatavari, it is an Indian herb and is also know as “she who has a hundred husbands” for its traditional use in Ayurvedic medicine for women's sexual energy. We have combined that with a Fenugreek extract that has human research to show efficacy in supporting libido for women.
And in the Mens Pro-Erex™, we have combined the Fenugreek extract with Panax ginseng, a herb that has been used in China for men’s sexual health and wellness for at least 5000 years!
Q6) Which key ingredients define your formulas, and what makes them effective?
The key ingredient over both the Mens and Womens formulas is the Fenugreek extract standardised to 50 % saponins, this extract has human research in both sexes for supporting sexual energy, as well as overall health and energy.
In the Mens Pro-Erex™ Testo Support formula, we have combined it with antioxidants, (grapeseed extract) adaptogens (Panax ginseng) and nutrients (Vitamin D, Selenium, Zinc) to support testosterone production, sperm health and reproductive health.
In the Womens Pro-Erex™ Intimacy formula, we have combined it with Shatavari for hormonal and libido support. We have also added Rhodiola rosea extract for energy and stress resistance, plus Vitamin B6 for hormonal and nervous system support.
Q7) Sustainability is becoming increasingly important for wellbeing consumers.How is Pro-Erex approaching sustainable practices, from sourcing to packaging?
Throughout the years, we have continually improved our packaging, prioritising eco-friendly practices. To help reduce waste even further, we now offer convenient refill solutions for our customers. What’s more, our tins are perfectly suited for repurposing; just peel off the label and they can be used for practical storage in the kitchen, bathroom, or garage.
