Ingredients:
For the hemp mylk
- ½ cup Chantal Organics Organic Hemp Hearts
- 2 cups cold filtered water
- 1-2 tablespoons liquid sweetener of choice (optional), such as agave syrup, maple syrup, or honey
- Vanilla extract (optional)
For the maca chai
- 1 heaped teaspoon Tropeaka Authentic Chai Powder
- 1 teaspoon BioBalance Certified Organic Maca Powder
Method:
- To make the hemp milk, add the hemp seeds and cold water to a blender and blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until you get a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Add sweetener and vanilla to taste if desired.
- Blend again briefly to combine any additional ingredients.
- Store the hemp milk in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Shake well before using, as it may naturally separate over time.
- Use in any instance you’d usually use milk – or milk alternative. Quick tip: The hemp mylk steams and froths well for smoothies and hot drinks.
