Dressings are a delicious way to transform even the most basic salad into a droolworthy meal that your tastebuds can’t deny. They’re also great when drizzled over roasted vegetables.

Packed with common pantry staples, putting together a tasty dressing recipe has never been easier. When convenience and time are top priorities, I’ve created three satisfying dressing recipes that tick the boxes.


Umami Miso Dressing

This ‘throw together’ Miso Dressing blends salty umami flavours from miso and tamari-soy with just a hint of sweetness from pure raw manuka honey. It’s wonderful drizzled over a tray of freshly roasted vegetables or mixed through a crispy lettuce and leaf salad.

Ingredients:

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a small jar or serving bowl, mix until well combine and smooth. Add more water if a runnier consistency is desired.


Tangy Tahini Dressing

Tahini is a fridge must-have for easy creamy dressings. This rich dressing is a blend of tangy, savoury flavours from tahini, savoury yeast, and zingy lemon. It’s lovely served as a dipping sauce for fresh (or pickled) veggie sticks or generously drizzled over salads and Buddha bowls.

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. In a small jar or dish dissolve coconut sugar in warm water.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix until well combine and smooth. Add more water if a runnier consistency is desired.

Makes: 2-4 servings | Total time: 5 minutes


Herby Hemp Dressing

If you’ve got an abundance of herbs, this Herby Hemp Dressing is sensational served over roasted potatoes, carrot or pumpkin or even over fresh greens. With a combination of fresh herbs, nutty hemp hearts and hemp oil it’s as wholesome as it is tasty.

Ingredients:

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a small jar or serving bowl, mix until well combined. Alternately blend in a food processor until smooth and creamy.
