Collagen is widely regarded for its hair, nail, and skin supporting properties but for a lot of us, knowing how to incorporate it into our diet is less familiar. If you’re ready to mix up your traditional collagen-water routine with some delicious recipes, here’s a good place to start.

These delicious collagen recipes are made using BePure’s Collagen+, which in addition to a generous 10 grams of sustainably sourced marine collagen per serving, has been specially formulated with Vitamin C and bioflavonoids to increase collagen absorption; plus antioxidants including Vitamin E and the powerful Polypodium Leucotomos to support those experiencing skin irritation. It’s these extra ingredients that put the plus in Collagen+.

To help you get the benefits of collagen every day, here are five of the BePure team’s favourite Collagen+ recipes, including a beauty smoothie, homemade gummies, and super snackable bliss balls!

Collagen Gummies Recipe

If you want a treat for your little ones (or for all to enjoy) that’s free of refined sugar but tastes just like a lollie, try Collagen Gummies. They’re made with gelatin, which comes from collagen, and helps nourish and support digestion.

Ingredients:

Chai Flavour

Vanilla Flavour

Directions:

  1. In a pot, simmer the coconut milk until warm but do not let it boil. If you're making the chai flavour, steep the chai tea bags in the milk as it heats up, then remove.
  2. Once warm, remove the chai tea bags and add all other ingredients apart from the BePure Collagen+ and stir until well combined.
  3. Set aside to cool to room temperature - approx. 30 minutes - you want it to be cool enough to add the BePure Collagen+ but before it starts to set.
  4. Once cool, stir in collagen and mix until combined.
  5. Pour mixture into your moulds, a baking tin also works fine, and put in fridge overnight to set.
  6. Pop out of moulds or cut into bite-sized pieces and enjoy! Store in fridge, they're good for up to five days… but good luck making them last that long!
