But the sustainable wish-list can get a little overwhelming… So we launched New Zealand’s inaugural Best of Natural Awards in partnership with Good Magazine, to showcase the best of the best in clean beauty, natural health, super nutrition, and eco-living products.
There’s a saying that ‘good things take time’ and it surely did. Our expert judges – Liz McNamara, Belinda Nash and Lucy Butler – spent months rigorously trialling over 400 incredible local and international brands across 29 different categories before narrowing it down to just 27 category winners.
As New Zealand’s home of naturally healthy, sustainable, and ethical wellness brands, like every product on our website, our Best of Natural winners had to be healthier for you and our planet - and backed by our strict ingredient standards. That means each product tested by our judges not only had to meet our industry leading ingredient, ethical and environmental standards, but we raised the bar even higher by making sure that, like HealthPost, the winning brands are committed to a sustainable future. In addition to premium, 100% clean ingredients, our judges considered sustainable business practices, including eco packaging, ingredient sourcing and transparency. In other words, everything you need to make healthy choices.

From cleansers and toners to masks, serums and scrubs, our judges tested over 50 face product entries to find Holy Grail bathroom cupboard must-haves. Antipodes H2O Baptiste Ultra-Hydrating Water Gel was the winner in the moisturiser category, with its jelly-like texture and native New Zealand botanicals, each of our judges felt it left their skin firm, plump and hydrated. “It does what it says. Amazing product, very innovative.”

Does your diet need a boost? From protein powder to coffee creamers, our judges taste-tested some of the best.
