African Mango Products

African Mango, also known as bush mango (irvingia gabonensis), is a tree natively found in the tropical jungles of Western Africa. While most West Africans would use the African Mango to thicken soup or to enjoy fresh, it’s the internal seed or the dika nut traditionally used in bush medicine that may possess medicinal properties. Preliminary research studies indicate possible support for digestive health, cholesterol management and blood sugar levels.

A natural health supplement containing African Mango Seed may restore balance to your overall wellbeing.

African Mango Benefits

A researcher at University of Yaounde in Cameroon conducted a study of the African Mango and results showed potential effectiveness for weight management. At the same time they also recorded signs of improved ‘good’ cholesterol levels in research subjects. The seed contains the antioxidant beta-carotene, which may support the immune system. Since it is fibre-rich, African Mango seed supplements may also support regular bowel movement.
